Akita Mix Puppies -- Now Available
We rarely if ever bring puppies into rescue so this
is a rare opportunity indeed. Please follow all
directions to be considered as a potential
puppy adopter.
Guidelines for puppy adoption are as follows:
1) You must submit a completed application.
Download and complete and then e-mail to
adoptanakita@gmail.com or fax to 760-888-2032.
2) The required donation to adopt a puppy is $300-
400. The amount is not negotiable, but it is tax
deductible. If you cannot afford it, it is not likely
that you will be able to afford the expenses
associated with caring for a puppy so please do not
ask.
3) Puppies are like new babies and must be
supervised. They need to go out for frequent
bathroom breaks, at least every 2 hours if not more
frequently. Puppies may chew things and can be
destructive. For these reasons we do not adopt
puppies to anyone who cannot stay home or keep
the puppy with them at all times until it is at least six
months old.
4) Puppies are normally altered prior to adoption
however if for some reason spay or neuter surgery
is deferred, a separate spay/neuter contract and
refundable deposit will be required and proof of
surgery must be presented within 3 weeks after
adoption.
- 5) Puppies are currently being fostered in Menifee,
CA about 30 minutes south of Riverside. We do
not ship or deliver puppies, you must come and
pick up your puppy.
| THE DETAILS: 10 puppies, 6 males, 4 females Approximate date of birth: December 15,2011 Will be ready to go to new homes soon and we are currently accepting applications. Act quickly if you are interested, the previous litter of puppies was adopted within less than 2 weeks! The mommy is an Akita but we are not sure what the pups may be mixed with. The mommy is named Suzie and she will also be available for adoption. She was not ready for her photo yet. |
