| Akita Blend Puppies -- Now Available |
We rarely if ever bring puppies into rescue so this is a rare opportunity indeed. Please follow all directions to be considered as a potential puppy adopter. Guidelines for puppy adoption are as follows: 1) Please submit a completed application. Complete your application and then scan and e-mail to apassionforpaws@gmail.com 2) The required donation to adopt a puppy is $400 The amount is not negotiable, but it is tax deductible. If you cannot afford it, it is not likely that you will be able to afford the expenses associated with caring for a puppy so please do not ask. 3) Puppies are like new babies and must be supervised. They need to go out for frequent bathroom breaks, at least every 2 hours if not more frequently. Puppies may chew things and can be destructive. For these reasons we do not adopt puppies to anyone who cannot stay home, keep the puppy with them or provide for the puppy to be watched at all times until it is at least six months old. 4) A separate spay/neuter contract and refundable deposit will be required and proof of surgery must be presented within 8 weeks after adoption. | THE DETAILS: 12 puppies, 8 males, 4 females Approximate date of birth: Sept 20,2012 and Oct 20, 2012 Will be ready to go to new homes soon and we are currently accepting applications. Act quickly if you are interested, the previous litter of puppies was adopted within less than 2 weeks! There are 3 separate litters of puppies. We do have the mommy dogs, 2 who are purebred Akitas and one is a Samoyed but we are not 100% sure what blend the puppies are. All of the puppies show strong Akita characteristics. Update 12/2: There is one female puppy left from one of the litters. She is called "Diva" and is pictured on the bottom right of the group photo. The third litter of pups is now ready to go home. The mommy is a purebred Samoyed and we believe that the dad is a Japanese style Akita. . |
