In place of a home visit, applicants must provide at least one letter of recommendation from a pet professional (i.e.: veterinarian, animal trainer, or local humane organization) on letterhead in addition to photos of your home and property that will show where the dog will be sleeping, fencing etc. If you have children and/or other dogs, it is highly recommended that you bring the whole family to the appointment. You will also be required to sign a contract that if for any reason the adoption does not work out, you will return the dog to our rescue organization at your own expense. To start the adoption process complete an application and return it to us. Applications are available in both Word Document and PDF form. 1. If you are familiar with Word, you may be able to fill out the application electronically by clicking in each field and typing your information. To complete the checkboxes, double click on the checkbox you with to select and pick "Checked" under "Default Value" For best results, set your document margins to 1/2 an inch on all sides. Please be sure to save your completed application. If these instructions don't make any sense to you, please complain to Bill Gates; he makes way more money that we do! ;p
